1) Discord account information
We store your Discord user ID, username, display name, and avatar so you can
sign in and have a PlayCtrl.me profile. This information is kept with your
account and is refreshed when you sign in. Your display name and avatar may
be visible on your control page, in groups, on leaderboards, and in Discover
if you choose to appear there.
2) Profile, device, and community settings
We store your control page settings, command permissions, paired device
records, whitelist, favorites, group memberships, and profile customization
so those features continue to work. They are kept until you change them,
remove them, or the related account or group is removed. Public control page
information is visible to anyone who can open the link. Private settings and
device credentials are not shown publicly.
3) Files uploaded for commands
Files uploaded through PlayCtrl.me are normally stored for up to 24 hours
so they can be delivered and reused from your recent uploads. A file may be
kept longer while a command is queued or when it must be preserved with a
safety report. Anyone with its direct file link may be able to view it while
it exists.
4) Screenshots and webcam responses
Screenshot and webcam response files are normally stored for up to
6 hours. They are stored so the requested result can be returned
to the authorized user.
5) Commands sent while someone is away
If away mode queuing is enabled, command details are stored until delivered
or until the 24 hour away window ends.
6) Command history and activity records
PlayCtrl.me records command activity, including the users involved, command
type, time, and command details needed for history, moderation, rate limits,
and abuse prevention. The receiving user can see their latest
15 commands. The underlying activity records currently have no
automatic expiration and may also include an IP address and browser or client
information. Those internal details are limited to site administration and
moderation use.
7) Message boards
A personal control page message board keeps its latest
100 messages. A group message board keeps its latest
50 messages. Messages are visible to people who can view the
related control page or group. Older messages are removed as new ones are
posted.
8) Reports and moderation information
Reports, strikes, bans, report details, and media saved as report evidence
currently have no automatic expiration. They are kept for safety, moderation,
appeals, and preventing repeat abuse. Report information and preserved media
are visible to site administrators and moderators, with limited related
information shown to the affected user where appropriate.
9) Login sessions and cookies
PlayCtrl.me uses a secure login cookie to keep you signed in. The cookie lasts
for up to 15 days. Logging out removes the active server side
session. A short lived OAuth cookie is also used while completing Discord
sign in.
10) What other people can see
Your control page is shareable by design. If Discover is enabled, guests and
members can see your listed profile and presence. Command totals may appear
on public leaderboards unless you disable leaderboard visibility in your
profile settings. Information posted to a group is visible according to that
group's access settings.
11) Deletion requests
Some information can be changed or removed directly from your profile. For
account information or records that cannot be removed there, contact a site
administrator through the PlayCtrl.me community Discord. Security, moderation,
or legal records may still need to be retained.
